Peppa Pig World, Hampshire

Peppa Pig World, Hampshire

That little know-it-all pig may be almost as annoying as her theme tune, but she sure knows how to plan a good theme park. Peppa Pig World sits within Paultons Park and is basically the equivalent of Willy Wonka’s Chocolate Factory for kiddies. Watch their little eyes pop out of their heads in awe as they step into Peppa’s world and come face to belly with their screen idol.

Rides at the park include Peppa’s Big Balloon Ride, Miss Rabbit’s Helicopter Flight, George’s Dinosaur Adventure and Grandpa Pig’s Boat Trip. There’s enough rides to make a whole day out at Peppa Pig World, and you’ll also find areas where you can meet the characters and get photos. Once you’ve worked up an appetite on all those rides, you’ll find lunch at Daddy’s Pigs Tummy Cafe. There are also other options for eating in Paultons Park, as well as a nice grassy area next to the Oriental garden if you want to picnic.

Watch out – on some of the rides there’s not much shade while queuing so hats and cover ups will be needed if it’s sunny.

Don’t miss out on some of the highlights of Paultons Park too as it has plenty to offer children of all ages. Our favourites were the Dinosaur Tour Co. ride, Cat-O-Pillar rollercoaster, River Ride log flume, the Wave Runner and the splash pad – don’t forgot swimmers and towels if it’s hot.

Then heads down and blinkers on as you make your way through the final gauntlet that is the Gift Shop, and you’re out in to the world where Peppa can be switched off again. Phew.
